What is Phishing?

Phishing is the fraudulent process of stealing your username and password by showing real member site’s login page. Hackers will crate the same design of the popular site’s login page and host it in to their servers. And now they will follow you on twitter and send direct messages like above to steal your twitter password.

How Phishing Works:

Here the design and the look of that fake page will be same as your original login page but the URL is different. Most busy users won’t look for the URLs. They will enter the username and password and hit the login button.

• After clicking the login button it won’t go to member’s page immediately. It will return the “Wrong Username and Password” error message.
• Now again our busy users will enter their username and password, now it will redirect to original members site.

So In the first process itself, they got your username and password and stored in their database. Now the hacker enjoys your username and password by doing some illegal activities. There are so many Phishing technique is available: Orkut Phishing, Gmail Phishing, Yahoo Mail Phishing, Facebook Phishing, Net banking Phishing and now Twitter Phishing.

What they will do using our login details?

• Using your Twitter login they can promote bad sites including web malware sites.
• Using your Gmail, Yahoo mail and AOL mail login they can send spam mails to your friends. They can steal your email contacts, Account password.
• If your login details got by terrorists means, they can use your email as major communication medium between their network.

How to prevent from this Phishing Attack:

Just simple methods only. But you have to be aware at any time.

• Whenever going to login to any member sites, just look for the website address in your browser’s address bar.  There you can find the real website address or fake address.
• Also look for your browser’s status bar before clicking any links in your email.
• Often change your account passwords .
• Do not store your personal information such as Credit Card number, bank account details in your email.
• Never follow fake profiles in Twitter and in Facebook.

My practice:

I have the habit of checking the URL of the site for avoiding Phishing.  I will look the address bar and browser status bar to confirm its originality. If it is wrong means, I can confirm, I’m under Phishing attack.  Follow me on Twitter…. !

Gmail included all the folders (labels) for searching. But unfortunately the search results omits, most of the contents from Draft section. For searching the documents withing the Gmail Draft, use the following method.

In the search box type “label:Draft” followed by your keyword.

Example:

label:Draft wordpress theme

Here I used wordpress theme as my keyword.  I have 281 drafts in my gamil account. All it is not the pre defined emails. Its all the contents or bookmarks, which I collected in my college and work place.  It is easy to find whereever we open our Gmail account.

Steps:

1. Copy the permanent link (URL) of the video.
2. Paste in the the Splandoo.com.
3. Select that particular video site.
4. and Click the Download Button.
5. Finally change the file name as “YourVideo.flv”.

Example Scrps with cross-site scripting:

A user’s account was affected when the user simply read a particular scrap containing an embed which caused the user to automatically become a part of a community on the site, without approval. The affected user’s account was then used to send this scrap to everyone present in the user’s friend list thereby creating a sort of a huge wave.

One day I opened the Internet Explorer in my computer, I saw the Title, It was displayed “Microsoft Internet Explorer is hacked by Moozilla” ( It is displayed one unwanted page automatically. http://lastchaos.in.th. I was shocked. I thought that it was setup by some of my friends. But it is not like that!!!

Finally I come in to conclusion that my computer was affected by Spyware or Malware. In order to remove that I used Many anti virus software’s and Anti-Spyware software’s. But I couldn’t.

Please do not open that site. If you open then your computer may affect by that Hackers. So please be aware of that.

Diino offers online storage as well as secure email and various other features.

The Diino client software can be downloaded for free from the site, and then it’s a case of selecting a price plan or opting for the free version. The features are exactly the same, but the free one (as reviewed here) is limited to 2GB of storage; free users also can’t opt out of marketing emails from Diino’s maker.

Once logged in, the software presents a folder view, with separate stores for music, pictures and so on. Files can be dragged and dropped into here and, as with all online-based applications, the speed at which they’re copied will depend upon your internet connection. During testing, Diino was able to use the full outgoing speed of the connection on our test PCs.

The software can also be set to backup files or folders on the PC and it’s possible to specify daily and weekly schedules. Backup speed is roughly the same as that with straight copying of files and the job didn’t impact noticeably on the PC’s performance. Annoyingly, however, files can’t be excluded from the backup, so choose the folders with care.

Files can be shared once uploaded (with the usual caveats about sharing copyright files) and there’s even a blogging tool; the latter seems a little pointless to us, but provides an easy way to put pictures online if nothing else.

The final section of the program is an email service. A secure client is offered, which removes the need to use PGP or a similar encryption tool, but there are some drawbacks. You’ll need to set up a new yourname@diino.com address, and email is only secure between Diino users. Added to that, we found the server connection to be quite flaky.

However, it’s difficult to level too many complaints at this free version of Diino, offering as it does 2GB of secure online storage. If 2GB isn’t enough, various price plans are available and start at $99.99 (£51) a year for 10GB, while those requiring 25GB will have to shell out an annual fee of $199.99 – neither of which offer great value for money.

However, most people will either have less than 2GB of important documents, making the free version viable.
